Domain registration is to purchase your website name or identity. For example; when you visit our web page, you will type: https://thegigabit.com.

thegigabit.com, is this case, is a domain name.

This creates an identity for you and your visitors to visit your webpage by typing your own domain name.

cTLD is country level domain. For example, .my, .com.my are country level domain name for Malaysia.

There are of course, other cTLD, such as .id (India), .sg (Singapore), .au (Australia) and many more.

TLD domains on the other hand, are domains that are open for public to purchase: .com, .net, .org, .biz and many more.

Please follow the steps below:
1. Order your desired SSL
2. Key in the domain name, as SSL is securing by domain (IP address will not work)
3. If you are using shared hosting, you may need to purchase additional IP address.
4. Make payment.
5. Inform TheGigabit team (If you are using shared hosting services), or generate CSR from your web apache.
6. Send to TheGigabit team: [email protected] the CSR
7. TheGigabit will generate CRT for you to install in your apache server.
8. Redirect the traffic from http > https upon successful installation.
